Perched at an elevation of 9,716 feet atop Storm Peak, Four Points Lodge offers a unique dining experience with panoramic views of the Yampa Valley. Accessible via the Four Points chairlift, this mountain retreat focuses on natural, healthy, made-to-order dishes crafted from local ingredients. The menu features fresh salads, pastas, homemade soups, and hot-stone grilled entrées, catering to a variety of tastes.

In 2024, the leadership at Steamboat Ski came to Open Air Design and Meissl with a challenge - how could they expand capacity of their popular lodge, while maintaining the ability to keep the appeal of an open terrace with striking mountain views that guests have always loved about the Four Point deck?  Working with the team, the Meissl engineers created the glass terrace with four custom MA umbrellas, custom shaped to follow the contours of the existing building and build on the existing deck.  During warm weather, the umbrellas are opened and the windows lowered to created the open deck for the sunshine-seeking guests.
