UmbrellabarsUSA - Find them coast to coast!
UmbrellabarsUSA was formed in the summer of 2005 after a spring ski trip to Austria with family and friends. While there we joined the apres ski crowds gathered at the lively and inviting umbrella bars, and wondered: Why don't we have these in the US? After contacting the Meissl "Schirmbars" company in Pfarrwerfen, Austria, UmbrellabarsUSA was born! We then became the North American distributor for the Meissl giant umbrella and umbrella bar products. There are now umbrella bars located from downtown Boston to the hills of Napa, serving a wide variety of customers including ski resorts, beach resorts, hotels, restaurants, stadiums and private residences.
We were on top of the world during construction of the newest Meissl umbrella bar at Whistler Blackcomb's Roundhouse Lodge. This spectacular location is guaranteed to be the new year-round gathering hot spot on Whistler Mountain.
Killington Resort's Roaring Brook umbrella bar is the resort's apres ski hot spot! At the base of Superstar trail - home of the FIS Women's World Cup races in November and the latest spring skiing in the east. Killington also has an umbrella bar at the newly developed Snowshed base area which serves as the center of their growing summer activities.
